Duet Enterprise connects Microsoft SharePoint 2010 and other software, providing end users with access to business processes and data, SAP and Microsoft said. "Businesses deploying Duet Enterprise can enhance the return on their existing IT investments and create a more collaborative infrastructure that will help improve overall productivity."

Along with the product itself, the two companies have introduced a partner network called the SAP-Microsoft Unite Partner Connection programme. Service providers who have signed up include Atos Origin, Logica and Wipro.
