This study by StratoGen, which questioned 1,000 senior business executives, reveals that more than a third of UK businesses still host fewer than 10% of their IT applications in the cloud.

- Just over 36% of UK senior business leaders said they host fewer than 10% of IT applications on the cloud, while 75% said less than half of their business applications are cloud hosted - only 1.98% said all of the company‘s IT applications are in the cloud
- The major concerns with cloud are to do with costs, trust issues in regard to the up-time and the security of the cloud, and the inability to easily migrate legacy applications – however, there are answers to all these problems that means businesses can truly embrace adopting the cloud
