Telefonica UK has outsourced the development and management of online applications to Cognizant through a managed services contract.
The outsourced applications are customer-facing and support Telefonica’s sales and customer support.
Telefonica expects the deal will make its customer support operation more agile, flexible and easier to change in response to customer demands and market fluctuations.
