LinkedIn launches business collaboration tools

Business social network LinkedIn has unveiled a range of applications for businesses and individuals.

To support collaborative working, Box on LinkedIn enables file sharing. There is also Huddle on LinkedIn, which provides private workspaces to collaborate on projects.

Amazon on LinkedIn allows users to discover what their contacts are reading, and TripIt on LinkedIn shows where contacts are travelling.

With SixApart on LinkedIn, users can stay up to date with contacts' blog posts.

Other applications include Google Docs on LinkedIn to embed a presentation in a profile SlideShare on LinkedIn to share, view and comment on presentations from a network and WordPress on LinkedIn to promote blog posts.

Company Buzz by LinkedIn allows companies to see what people are saying about them.

To use the applications, view LinkedIn's application directory.
