BT offers free mobile broadband to small businesses with fixed line broadband

BT Business is offering free mobile broadband to SMEs if they sign up to a fixed line broadband package.

BT Business Total Broadband Options 2 and 3 now include a mobile broadband service at no extra charge.

BT’s new Access Manager software enables businesses to automatically access a fast mobile connection via BT Openzone Wi-Fi hotspots or mobile networks including GPRS, 3G, and HSDPA/HSUPA.

Bill Murphy, managing director of BT Business, said, “We are focused on giving customers better value and greater flexibility in the face of the tougher business climate."

BT Business Total Broadband customers eligible for free mobile broadband get a free plug and play USB data stick to make a fast, secure and easy connection to a mobile network or a Wi-Fi hotspot.

BT Business Mobile Broadband is available for £17.50 a month for those firms choosing the more basic Total Broadband Option 1 package.

The free mobile broadband package to Option 2 and 3 users is available until the end of the year.
