Scottish transport authority the Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT) has signed a deal with enterprise software provider TechnologyOne for a financial reporting package.

The firm's TechnologyOne Financials will manage the control of financial information and the authority's yearly negotiating process for 800 transport services contracts.

"The new systems have given us much more visibility into our accounting process and we can now quickly generate reports for a wider range of activities," said Neil Wylie, SPT's director of finance.

According to TechnologyOne, more than 250 local authorities across the UK, Australia and New Zealand are using its software.
