An RFID roadmap for suppliers

I wrote yesterday about the quick-fix solutions now arriving on the market to enable suppliers to cope with mandates - indeed a $2 per pallet 'service fee', a.k.a a fine - from retailers such as Wal-Mart to be RFID compliant.

I know this is a Wal-Mart story, and there's a temptation to think that this isn't relevant, but the same issue applies to Tesco suppliers who have to get themselves RFID-ready, and probably before too long, as it's part of the Wal-Mart empire, to Asda's suppliers too.

With that in mind, there's an interesting piece in RFID Journal about the need to provide an RFID roadmap for suppliers.
