Why we can love a good crisis!

All credit to Glynis Morris of Gloucestershire County Council on how they coped with the summer floods.

The overall leadership message here is how people come together in a crisis - three reasons we do this - 1 Because we do not have time, we have to fix whatever is "wrong" 2 - We all work with each other and (suddenly) appreciate each other's strengths, because we have to and 3 -We have a common enemy, in this case, water - in the case of the Conservative party conference, the threat of a snap election. And look what happended as a result.

What lessons can you learn in times of crisis that we can apply during other times, based on these three factors?
