Unless you want to read what people can already read, or, worse still, point out there are so many points on this slide that people won't be able to read it (in which case you are now deemed a plonker) or WORSE STILL, try to cram 50 slides into your 15 minute slot and then you can come out with the classic - "I won't show all the powerpoints I have prepared" in which case this will happen to you. And you will deserve it.

8 of 10 - Personal (can also be used in business!)Here's a great way to really piss people off - when you are with them and your mobile rings - do the following:
* Immedietely look at the caller ID (you are saying to the person you are with - "i'll just check to see if this person is more important than you are"
* Next say "do you mind if I take this?" and ignore them when they say "yes" and mean "no" (you are saying "do you mind if I make someone else in the world more important than you")
AND THE VERY BEST...
* Answer the call and say to the caller - wait for it - "I can't talk at the moment, I am in a meeting" (Classic - you have now upset TWO PEOPLE in one conversation - if you are too busy to talk don't answer the bl**dy phone
Turn it OFF
When someone else is speaking - listen, truly listen - the biggest compliment you can ever pay someone else - listen to what they are saying, and more especially how they are saying it. Do this today, ideally with a member of your family / loved one / friend. And see and feel the difference
