Your CV...

...To have maximum impact, (i.e. you get the job or you get that promotion)follow these three simple rules:

1. Maximum of two pages

2. Start with one paragraph summary - and each part of your cv emphasising leadership, delivery and results for the overall company

3. Start with most recent career, ending with last and then education and personal details, with three referees at the bottom

Any head-hunter or recruitment adviser will look at your CV for this period, before moving on to the next. They will then look at overall length, more than two pages is flannel. Have no fear about putting your personal details at the end, as they will find them if they need to, and then they will see your three stuning referees.

PS How to keep champagne fresh and fizzy after opening - put a teaspoon inside the top of th eopened bottle.
