When it comes to mobility, enterprises are no longer worried about price: instead, they’re worried about network coverage.
That’s the finding of a new study from telecom consultancy Telsyte, which recently surveyed more than 900 mobility decision makers in Australia.
This change in opinion is thanks mainly to an increase in competition between carriers, Telsyte’s research director Warren Chaisatien said.
"Competition has become so intense that businesses can now obtain cheap and comparable prices from any carrier," Chaisatien said.
Interestingly, the recent closure of the CDMA network by Telstra was also behind the change, Chaisatien said.
"[CDMA coverage is] something Australian businesses might have taken for granted previously,” he said.
