IBM and Google have joined forces to bring deeper search capabilities to business users.

IBM and Google have joined forces to bring deeper search capabilities to business users.

By linking IBM's OmniFind industrial-strength search facility with Google's Desktop for Enterprise, users will have a single view of both corporate and desktop information.

Lotus Notes users will be able to search for information inside corporate databases and content management systems, as well as desktop applications such as web pages, e-mails and pdfs.

No money is changing hands in the deal.
