Smartner has released its push-based mobile e-mail solution on the new Nokia 7710 smartphone.
Smartner Always-on Mail Internet Edition is available on the new device on purchase, so the user just has to enable the service. A two-month free trial lets users experience the benefits of real-time e-mail before buying the software.
“This is the first result of our co-operation with Nokia, which aims to bring real-time access to e-mail to mobile devices,” said Jussi Räisänen, vice-president for strategic partnerships at Smartner.
“As Smartner Always-On Mail is pre-installed on the memory card of the Nokia 7710 smartphone, enabling a true push e-mail service is as simple as switching the phone on and inserting your e-mail credentials.”
Always-On Mail is intended for users who primarily wish to read and quickly reply to their e-mail on the move, without having to carry another device or visiting an internet cafe.
The software works with any ISP-based e-mail account and is aimed at consumers and small and home offices, as well as enterprise users whose e-mail service is available to the internet.
