NTT DoCoMo admits to overcharging digital photo service subscribers
Japanese telecoms company NTT DoCoMo has admitted that a server error resulted in subscribers of its I-Shot digital photo service...
The I-Shot servers receive photo transmissions from mobile phones with cameras and send them out as e-mail attachments Over a period between 1 June and 17 July, connections failed but customers were still being billed.
DoCoMo has now fixed the problem by adjusting the connection timing of the I-Shot servers. It has refunded the customers who were overcharged.
