Argo Group International is to have its archiving, e-mail and messaging systems managed remotely by UK service provider Bluesource in a deal that will secure information, cut costs and free up internal IT staff.
Argo Group's US and UK-based systems will be managed from Bluesource's London service centre. This gives 24 hour management and analysis of the IT infrastructure, which is made up of Microsoft Exchange, Symantec Enterprise Vault and Blackberry Enterprise Sever.
"This move is delivering a reduction in our costs and provides us with access to the highest levels of ongoing system management expertise - which we couldn't provide internally or, at the same level," said Harry Shaw, IT infrastructure manager at Argo International.
Bluesource resolves incidents and through constant monitoring can pre-empt problems.
