KnowledgePoint unveils Autodesk Instructor programme

Kayleigh Bateman

IT learning and training services provider KnowledgePoint has launched a training course to enhance the soft skills of the existing 4,000 Autodesk Training Centre (ATC) instructors, throughout EMEA.

The Autodesk Instructor programme (AI) has been designed in partnership with the Learning Performance Institute (LPI). The LPI includes the Trainer Performance Monitoring and Assessment (TPMA) programme, which teaches trainers in understanding different learning styles and levels.

The LPI includes annual monitoring and assessment of all TPMA-qualified teachers.

Graeme Phillips, Autodesk programme manager, EMEA at KnowledgePoint said ATC instructors play a key role in helping Autodesk customers improve productivity, innovation and quality through the use of their software.

“They are already very strong in this, especially on the technical side, and we believe that further support in understanding how learning is received individually will ensure they excel. Having this extra edge can make a real difference to the students themselves, helping further improve the customer experience and, in turn, improve business performance.” He added.

KnowledgePoint will be running 59 four-day TPMA workshops throughout EMEA (mostly in local languages) from May 2012 to January 2013.
