The three offerings include the Dell/EMC CX3-10, which is an entry-level San array delivering data protection. In addition, there are the PowerVault TL2000 and TL4000 tape libraries, designed to deliver simplified data protection and reliable hands-off, around-the-clock operation in compact platforms.
Paul Kaeley, head of storage at Dell EMEA, said, “Storage management can be resource-intensive and highly unpredictable - capacity shortfalls may prevent an organisation from responding to changes quickly.”
Dell said the Dell/EMC CX3-10 is ideal for budget-conscious customers who require both high availability for increasing data capacity, and upgradeability for investment and data protection.
Supporting both iSCSI and Fibre Channel hosts, this array extends the reach of the enterprise-class UltraScale architecture to small and medium-sized businesses. The Dell/EMC CX3-10 starts at £21,500.
The Dell PowerVault TL2000 and TL4000 tape libraries are designed to make it easier for customers to protect critical data and archive data as a result of streamlined set-up and management.
The PowerVault TL2000 is priced from £5,049, and the TL4000 starts at £7,909.
