The move is a bid to enable Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) to take advantage of market opportunities by delivering their applications through a managed service, without having to implement a complex IT infrastructure themselves.
Through its MSP service, Centrom now claims to be able to supply ISVs with the ability to deploy its applications from a central data centre direct to the customer site.
Included as part of the service will be the management of the infrastructure, network and operating systems, as well as the databases which will be provided to the customer through a single Service Level Agreement (SLA).
The benefit, said Centrom managing director Mark Venables, is that "both ISVs and end-users receive maximum benefit in terms of reliability and performance."
