Advice will be given on techniques for coping with huge amounts of data at presentations at this year's Storage Expo event at London's Olympia from 15-16 October.
Graeme Hackland, IT director of Renault Formula 1, will speak on improving the efficiency of design in data storage strategy and David France, head of IT for the British American Racing Formula 1 team, will give a keynote speech on high-performance scalable storage in Formula 1.
The huge storage demands of movie special effects will be tackled by Cyn Langley, head of IT at Mill Films, which produced the special effects for the film Gladiator.
In addition to large storage demands, key issues to be addressed at the conference and exhibition will be handling e-mail storage and related regulations and legislation; data consolidation following mergers; networking storage resources; and storage back-up and disaster recovery.
