The
British Computer
Society’s IT Industry Awards are the most important event in
the IT calendar. These annual awards mark the key contribution made
by the IT profession to economic prosperity, to business efficiency
and to our public services.
Warwick Ashford visited the headquarters of BCS to find out more
about the selection process for this year's awards. In this podcast
he speaks to BCS fellow Keith Taylor, awards moderator for the
project excellence section, and David Tidey, head of information
systems at the royal borough of Kensington and Chelsea and
moderator for the organisational excellence section.
With the closing date set for 1 August, there's still – just –
time to submit your own entry, to be in with a chance of receiving
an award. The awards ceremony itself will take place in at the
Grosvenor House Hotel, London on 4 December.
