European IT managers will pay more for green PCs, says Lenovo/AMD study

European IT managers are prepared to pay more forgreen PCs, says a joint study by Lenovo and AMD.

The research questioned 600 IT managers across Europe, and it found that 82% of respondents would be willing to pay more for an energy efficient product.

It was also revealed that 60% of IT managers were using PCs that were not energy efficient.

Milko van Duijl, president of Lenovo EMEA, said, "Being environmentally friendly is a critical success factor in doing business today, and it comes with palpable operational benefits, most notably cost savings."
