Data integration software provider Informatica
has announced record revenues for its third quarter ended September
30, 2007.
Revenues for the
third quarter of 2007 were $96.0 million, up 22% from the $78.9
million recorded in the third quarter of 2006. Licence revenues for
the third quarter were $41.0 million and net income was $14.4
million, up nearly a quarter and more than 50% respectively on
those recorded in the comparable time period twelve months
earlier.
For the nine-month
period ended September 30, 2007, revenues were $277.4 million, an
increase of 19% on that recorded for the first nine months of 2006.
Licence revenues for the first nine months of 2006 were $120.4
million a 17% climb compared with the first three quarters of
2006.
Highlights of the
quarter include repeat business with 194 customers—including,
Credit Suisse, DaimlerChrysler, FedEx Freight System, Globe
Telecom, Landesbank Hessen-Thüringen, PayPal and Paramount Pictures
Corporation—and the landing of 53 new customer agreements.
In addition, during the time period Informatica announced
an agreement with Cognos whereby the latter will OEM
Informatica data quality software in conjunction with its
performance management solutions. The companies also announced
they will expand their go-to-market cooperation in the field for
data integration to provide complete best-of-breed solutions.
Informatica also launched its newest addition to its On Demand
services which delivers dynamic scorecards on the quality of data
in salesforce.com implementations.
