Skandia UK will use a business management platform from
Tibco Software to hep improve the performance of its insurance
business.
Once implemented, said Skandia, the platform will provide a
real-time view of business events, enabling the company to decrease
time-to-market for new services, streamline the administration of
its distribution chain and ultimately improve customer service
levels.
Tim Mann, Skandia CIO, said, “Skandia is one of the fastest
growing life companies in the UK and we have ambitious plans to
increase this growth over the coming years.
“Using sophisticated software solutions from Tibco will enable
us to connect our various services in a cohesive way.”
The software will provide Skandia management and their financial
adviser customers with a real-time view of the business and client
portfolios, helping them to make strategic business decisions.
