McAfee builds risk strategy

McAfee has unveiled a security risk management strategy designed to provide a more effective way to minimise risks from threats and ensure compliance.

The security supplier has added compliance management capabilities including remediation, network access control and data loss prevention to its software.

McAfee plans to integrate Citadel patch management products, which it acquired in June, into its ePolicy Orchestrator software. This will provide security policy compliance and vulnerability remediation via a single security management console.

The company is also developing a new version of its network access control software.
