EMC targets SMEs with e-mail management tool

EMC has introduced an e-mail management tool to help companies migrate more easily to Microsoft Exchange 2003. The solution can also be used to manage storage.
The Storage Administrator for Exchange tool acts as a plug-in to the Microsoft Exchange System Manager interface, allowing companies to manage e-mail and migrate data.
EMC says users of its storage systems can also deploy the tool as a single interface to manage data held on storage area networks.
The new tool is aimed at what EMC classifies as small- to mid-size companies – those with fewer than 3,000 e-mail inboxes.
