Best of VMworld Europe User Awards 2016: Shortlist announced

Find out who made the shortlist for this year's Best of VMworld Europe User Awards, which is set to take place on Wednesday 19 October 2016 at VMworld, Barcelona

The shortlist for the Best of VMworld Europe User Awards has been finalised, with the winners set to be announced at VMworld Europe in Barcelona on Wednesday 19 October.

Hosted by Computer Weekly and, the Best of VMworld Europe User Awards shine a light on the technological prowess demonstrated by organisations across the continent that have made virtualisation, cloud and DevOps the cornerstone of their IT strategies.

Our independent panel of judges were inundated with entries for the 2016 awards from a wide range of industries, spanning construction, education, financial services, logistics and publishing.

The winners will be announced at 3.50pm on Wednesday 19 October 2016 in the Solutions Exchange Theatre at VMworld Europe.

The winners will be awarded a certificate, and in the weeks following the event, their project will be profiled by Computer Weekly.

Best desktop virtualisation or mobility project

  • DHL – nominated by Login VSI.
  • Gelita – nominated by Cortado Mobile Solutions Gmbh.

Best agility and DevOps project

  • Swisslife France.
  • Cegal – nominated by RES Software.
