The BCS is seeking candidates to nominate themselves for election to four BCS Council seats.

The council meets three times a year and is integral to the running of the BCS. It provides advice to the Trustee Board (the society's governing body) on the direction, operation and budget of the society.

Most importantly, though, it controls the membership of the trustee board, electing council members and honorary officers who sit on the board.

All paid-up members are eligible, except student members.

Nomination forms are due in by 6 July. Candidates need the support of four professional members.
