Business consultancy and systems integration firm Eurodata Systems has announced a new staffing service aimed at IT departments left shorthanded during staff holidays.
The managed resource service is designed to provide an alternative to recruiting and hiring IT contractors. Figures from the latest SSL/Computer Weekly Survey of Appointments Data and Trends, released earlier this month, showed an increase in demand for contract staff outside London and the South East, despite a nationwide drop in the number of IT vacancies.
The TeamEuro technical resource service is pitched at mid-market firms that need IT technical support staff on a short or long-term basis, to cover for employees’ holidays, staff training or other shortages.
The service is also aimed at addressing temporary skills gaps or providing extra staff during peak periods of work or special projects.
Eurodata’s staff skills portfolio includes different levels of skill, from technical helpdesk analysts to network and server support engineers.
