Microsoft is without a financial head after its chief financial officer completed his notice period at the end of last week.
CFO John Connors announced his resignation from the company in January, to join a venture capital firm. Microsoft said it is still looking for his replacement, but it has failed to announce an interim financial chief while it carries on its search.

Microsoft plans to announce its third-quarter results on 28 April.
