The European Parliament, the Council of the European Union, the European Commission, the Court of Justice and the Court of Auditors have renewed their contracts for IT services with Getronics in a deal worth more than £11.8m over four years. Getronics will provide desktop, content management and application integration services.
TNT extends global Transcomm deal
Logistics firm TNT has extended its contract with Transcomm in a deal worth £1.25m over the next five years. The Transcomm Network will form the basis of TNT's global Mobileworker initiative, which aims to improve flexibility and provides a platform to extend the company's mobile working outside of the core collection and delivery fleet.
EDF automates trade process with Esker Fax
Electricity supplier EDF Trading has awarded Esker Fax software a multimillion-pound contract to automate its trade confirmation processes. The application will enable EDF to scale up transaction volumes and minimise operational risk. Esker Fax will provide a single enterprise-wide fax enabling it to send and receive faxes from virtually any application.
Securities firm extends Mondas support deal
Brewin Dolphin Securities has signed a contract worth more than £800,000 with banking and securities specialist Mondas for an upgrade of its corporate processing software Radica Caps. As well as licence upgrades and project services, the contract includes an extension of support for a further five years.
Figleaves keeps track of stock with Applix
Online retailer Figleaves has awarded a six-figure contract to supplier Applix to implement business analysis software to help it keep track of stock. Applix is working with partner The Planning Factory to install the software, which will gather and analyse information to help Figleaves plan and manage stock.
Dover upgrades its call system with MacFarlane
Dover District Council has awarded a £65,000 contract to MacFarlane Telesystems to implement its Callplus system within the council's revenue and benefits division.
