The software, aimed at corporate universities, training institutions and human resource departments, will allow users to design courses, develop content and relate it to respective business administration processes, the companies said.
Additionally, users will be able to develop customised courses and deliver them online.
The software will be based on SAP's mySAP.com platform and the SAP Learning Solution, which consists of a learning portal, a learning management system, an authoring environment and a content management system. The company will provide the software, industry-specific customisation and interfaces.
Siemens will dedicate its corporate business qualification and Training unit to define which business processes will be covered.
