BT Health PR chief exits

From PR Week today:

“BT Health [PR] chief Nicola Rossi exits to join the National Pharmacy Association

“Nicola Rossi is to join the National Pharmacy Association as director of communications later this year, in a newly created role. She will also oversee the external relations team.

“She leaves BT Health after three years. BT is one of the largest suppliers of IT services to the NHS. It also plays a role in the NHS National Programme for Information Technology (NPfIT), the world’s largest civilian IT programme.

“Rossi has been working in communications management roles for BT for more than 20 years and has spent time in the BT press office.”

In 2006 PR Week announced that BT, the “much-maligned” NPfIT contractor, had strengthened its communications team with the appointment of Nicola Rossi. BT indicated at the time that the appointment reflected the importance of the national programme.
