"Companies can extend workforce productivity outside the office by allowing employees to make informative and timely business decisions any time and any place on a wide range of mobile devices," SAP and Sybase said.
John Chen, chairman, CEO and president of Sybase, said, "Today's wireless consumers are provided with extensive features and functionality surrounding interaction, collaboration and information accessibility. To effectively carry this rich experience over to the enterprise, an open, standardised platform approach is required for interfacing between multiple application and device assets."
T-Systems will work with Sybase to enable SAP end-users to access SAP Business Suite and mobile business processes and applications.
