Redmond says there will be one critical patch to address vulnerabilities in the Windows client and server operating system as part of its monthly patching cycle.

The important patch will also fix a problem in the Windows client and server OS.

A critical vulnerability means a remote attacker can potentially target vulnerable systems without any user interaction.
