Will Wossy work his magic with Microsoft?

The gaming industry is burgeoning, with new consoles hitting the shelves and the Christmas rush set to line the pockets of manufacturers the world over.

But to be sure it has a fighting chance within this competitive landscape, Microsoft has turned to British TV’s Jonathan Ross in the hope to give its games that extra star appeal.

“I’m thrilled to be joining forces with Microsoft Studios,” he told CVG. “The explosion in cross-platform opportunities and the chance to create and develop entertainment ideas that make the most of both the traditional and the very latest platforms is tremendously exciting.”

So what games do you think Wossy will come up with? A new Guitar Hero with four puffs and a piano? A beat ’em up for Saturday night TV ratings? Or a roleplaying game of how to leave answer machine messages without losing your job? Gamers wait with bated breath…
