What to expect from Palo Alto Networks’ Ignite London 2026 event
Closer to home than Las Vegas (or indeed Barcelona, or any of the other usual suspect venues), the Computer Weekly Developer Network is headed to Old Billingsgate, London on Thursday, 5 February 2026.
This is the date for Palo Alto Networks to host its “Ignite on Tour London” conference and exhibition.
The event is aimed at CxOs and cyber security professionals in the first instance; but it will also have relevance for the wider community of working software engineers and data scientists, especially those with a footprint in the cyber security space. Palo Alto Networks promises attendees a chance to sharpen skills and walk away with immediate, actionable strategies for deployment.
“Today’s attackers are faster, smarter and increasingly powered by AI. At Ignite on Tour London, you will gain the critical tools, training, and strategic insights required to stay ahead,” says the company.
The team further promises that attendees will get insight into how to gain a clear plan for consolidating their organisation’s architecture with a unified platform, automation and the power of AI.
Event elements
Core elements of this event include interactive workshops for hands-on learning. The company urges software professionals to join what it calls “immersive sessions” to operationalise Palo Alto Networks platforms and effectively neutralise sophisticated threats.
It’s all about what Palo Alto Networks says is a route to future-proof an organisation’s Security Operations Centre (SOC) and discover frameworks for scaling operations and automating defences against AI-driven attacks.
Attendees at Palo Alto Networks Ignite on Tour London 2026 can learn directly from experts on how adversaries are weaponising AI… and the definitive methods required to counter them.
Agenda breakdown
The agenda features a welcome address presented by Alistair Wildman, CEO UKI, Nordics and Benelux at Palo Alto Networks.
Looking to explain how teams need to secure their IT architecture in the age of AI, a further keynote session will be presented by Helmut Reisinger, CEO for EMEA and Anand Oswal, EVP of products at Palo Alto Networks. The pair say that they will discuss the future of security in action and also chart the course for AI security, security operations, cloud and quantum.
Global managing partner for cybersecurity services at IBM Mark Hughes will present a session entitled “From passwords to post quantum” before a further set of deep dives start.
Billed as one of the highlights of the day, a late morning panel is entitled ‘The AI advantage to solving the unsolvable in cyber security’ – and this session involves customers (National Gas and others) and Palo Alto Networks SVP Global CIO Meerah Rajavel. According to the event preview literature, in an ever-evolving threat landscape, AI is no longer just a buzzword i.e. it’s the key to a solvable security future.
The panel will discuss how AI-driven services can solve complexity problems to simplify security management and operations; close the talent gap – to augment human expertise with intelligent automation; and stay ahead of sophisticated attacks and predict and prevent threats at scale.
Into the AI Security Nexus
Ian Swanson, VP for product, AI security at Palo Alto Networks will discuss the issues related to AI as it now reshapes the enterprise landscape. He will highlight the fact that organisations must navigate the convergence of using AI for innovation and securing AI against new threats. This session defines what Palo Alto calls the AI Security Nexus – a unified strategy for the AI-first enterprise.
“We will move beyond the hype to provide a transparent look at our internal AI use cases, a deep dive into AI deployed across our product offerings and a comprehensive framework for securing the AI ecosystem,” notes Swanson and team.
The team says it will cover operational excellence with a behind-the-scenes look at how the company itself utilises AI at Palo Alto Networks to optimise its own security and drive operational efficiencies. There will be a platform deep dive into the specific AI features available today across the company’s product portfolio.
There is no cost to attend this event and registration can be found at the above link.
