Chinese father hires gamers to "kill" his son

A father in China has hired virtual assassins to hunt down his 23-year-old son and kill his avatar to help cure his suspected addiction to online games.
The father, named by the Kotako East blog as Mr Feng, was concerned about the amount of time his unemployed son was spending online, according to the BBC
Feng’s idea was that his son would get bored if he was killed every time he logged on, and that he would start putting more effort into getting a job.
But the son claims he is not addicted, and the reason that he does not have a job is that he simply has not found one that he likes yet.
“I’m not looking for any job–I want to take some time to find one that suits me,” he was quoted as saying by local media reports.
Although unusual, Feng’s approach to his son’s online gaming habits is less extreme than blocking access to the internet or sending him off to China’s notorious addiction camps
