Ten-year-old passes Computing AS Level

A ten-year-old boy has become one of the youngest students to pass the Computing AS Level.
Shayan Ahmed from Walsall in the West Midlands was awarded a grade C today. He previously passed a GCSE, aged seven, in ICT with a grade B.
Commenting on Shayan's achievement, Mike Ryde, principal of Ryde Teaching Services, which taught Shayan, said: "Shayan has worked very hard for his AS level and he has proven again that children can achieve at a younger age if given the opportunity."
Shayan plays the electric guitar. His ambition is to meet and play with his two favourite groups, The Editors and Green Day.
