Charnwood Borough Council has signed a five-year £430,000 contract with Steria to supply, implement and support a new CRM system.

The system will be based on Lagan software and is the third deal in Leicestershire for Steria, following contract wins with Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council and Blaby District Council.

Stephen Phipps, director of partnerships and customer services at Charnwood Borough Council, said, "The potential that this solution brings in terms of added benefit for our customers and improved flexibility for our staff is very exciting.”

He said, “The solution will allow us to have a more effective dialogue with the public, thereby strengthening our relationship with the citizens of Charnwood. We were impressed with Steria's expertise in the public sector and their understanding of our goals and aims for this project."
