easyBus revamps website to improve customer service

Airport transfer service easyBus is revamping its website to help travellers plan transfers around London airports.

Airport transfer service easyBus is revamping its website to help travellers plan transfers around London airports.

The easyBus website will show maps and timetables of drop-off and pick-up points for easyBus services between central London and Gatwick, Luton and Stansted Airports.

It will use estimates of traffic conditions to recommend buses for particular check-in times.

The online system will take into account unexpected changes to customers' journeys. For example, if a flight is delayed, a text message will be sent to passengers with easyBus bookings to tell them they have seats reserved on later buses.

The easyBus website has 12,000 hits a day which it expects to increase 25% as it expands its route coverage.

Vasant Mistry, CEO at easyBus, said, "Our website is often the first point of contact we have with customers and we upgraded it to make it as informative, interactive and user-friendly as possible."
