Three out of four IT directors at large companies believe software is released unfinished or without testing, a survey by the Corporate IT Forum (Tif) has found.
Of the IT directors and managers questioned, 94% said that suppliers "oversold" their software, creating false expectations about how easy the software would be to install and support.
Tif has announced a series of workshops in February to encourage IT directors and suppliers to discuss software quality.
