Britney Spears has signed a deal with AOL Time Warner that will see subscribers gain early access to online events and concert...
The pop star is no stranger to using the latest technology to woo her fans. In June she teamed up with search engine Yahoo to produce a Web site that allowed fans to follow her and boyfriend Justin Timberlake of boy band N'Sync on a shopping trip. And in May she became the first artist to use so-called "immersive" DVD technology in a concert CD that allowed fans to choose the angle they viewed from.
Teenage devotees will be disappointed to learn that despite the wonders of the Internet allowing them to follow her around the shops and view her from any angle, there are no plans for a Web site that would allow them to virtually "ask her out".
