CSC chief calls for next government to freeze NHS targets

Guy Hains, President of CSC’s European Group, has called on the next government to freeze for a time NHS targets, rather than introduce policy changes which could affect IT implemenentations.

CSC is one of the remaining local service providers under the National Programme for IT – NPfIT. It has about £3bn worth of contracts, part of which involves installing the “Lorenzo” system in dozens of hospitals.
