Later today, I’ll be summing up the discussions around the table at a roundtable event I took part in in Reading called ‘Engaging with the Disengaged On Sustainability.’
Attendees for the event, which focused on getting SMEs to embrace sustainability, included Kyocera Mita, the Global Cool Foundation, Clarkslegal, Forbury Environmental, the FD Centre, Connect Reading, Reading Borough Council, Thames Water, Integral, Ennismore Partners, Locus, Reading Football Club, CBS Business Interiors, and C8 Consulting.
In the meantime, I came across a notification that the 6th International Green Awards for Creativity in Sustainability have opened for entries, and are looking for sustainability ‘heroes’. These awards, which follow hot on the heels of the recent Green IT awards, will feature a ceremony at the end of November at the Natural History Museum. You can visit the awards portal here for more information, including details of categories, such as the Best Green Technology award.
