ups software application development ante has set the dates in stone for its annual Cloudforce event this year on 22nd May 2012 at ICC ExCeL London. Labeled as the Cloudforce Social Enterprise Tour, this year’s event is distinguished by its heavier developer streams.

In what is being described as “extensive” developer sessions and zones, programmers are encouraged to learn how the company’s Social Enterprise Platform really works.

According to, “The Social Enterprise Platform lets companies of any size engage with customers and employees in dynamic and interactive new ways.”

The platform brings together of, Heroku, and, which combined provide a route to building enterprise applications and websites in the cloud.

Note: Heroku (pronounced her-OH-koo) is a cloud application platform with services that claim to lets programmers spend “100% of their time on their application code” i.e. not managing servers, fussing over deployment tasks and/or concerning themselves with ongoing operations or scaling.
