Trust in the cloud is not just about information security, says Art Coviello, executive chairman of RSA, the security division of EMC.
"It is also about resiliency, including disaster recovery and availability of information," he told Computer Weekly.
Coviello, also executive vice-president of EMC, said he would be an EMC spokesman for all these elements as part of his new role at the RSA division.
In this podcast, he explains how RSA's chief operating officer Tom Heiser's step into his former role of company president is part of the ongoing succession plan.
Coviello explains how his new role will mean that, although he will continue to take an active role in the running of the company, it will free him up to spend more time with customers, thinking about strategy and looking at potential mergers and acquisitions.
