APRA tenders for Cisco VoIP solution

The Australian Prudential Regulation Authority is shopping for a mass of Cisco VoIP kit, including unified communications software for Blackberry devices.

The Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) has issued a tender for Cisco VoIP products, software, training and installation services.

The organisation is seeking 740 handsets, plus BlackBerry clients for Cisco's Unified Mobile Communicator suite. Other required products include four Cisco 3845 integrated services routers, 700 Unified Presence licenses and the same number of Unified Video Advantage licenses.

The new equipment is expected to be deployed at APRA's offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide and Brisbane.
