The rules of engagement

First up this week, some nice advice on just how to conduct yourself in an online meeting. It’s timely because, let’s face it, the rules for conferencing are not yet as well understood as the rules for a business phone call! The link above came from Microsoft, which also has some handy stuff about unified comms (UC) in healthcare.

Sane UC marketing

At least one UC blogger, meanwhile, says that vendors are finally starting to talk sense in the way they market UC, instead of hyping it up.

One of your editor’s favourite UC tools is Fring, but TechCrunch says the company is in a little strife. If it folds, there’s always Truphone to try as a substitute!
