French Connection stores in the UK and US have gone live with a till fraud prevention system.
French Connection is using SeeWhy behavioral analytics software provided and managed by Sanderson RBS to spy on staff.
Till fraud can involve staff undercharging for items bought or refunding excessive amounts for cheap items returned.
The Loss Alert Service is powered by SeeWhy Software and is fully integrated with Sanderson RBS' retail point-of-sale system. The managed service supports more than 100 retail locations across the UK and the US.

SeeWhy's real-time behavioural profiling analyses expected transactions for each store, cash register and cashier, based on prior data and real-time register information.
The continuous, real-time analytics trigger instant, detailed alerts to regional and/or store-level managers when fraud or departures from expected activity are detected.
This enables managers to pinpoint the cause of the alert and address issues as they occur and before substantial losses occur.
