Organic supplier to plant ERP system

Antony Savvas

Produce World, the £140m turnover conventional and organic fresh produce supplier, is to adopt Anglia Business Solutions’ Linkfresh business management system to improve its operations.

Linkfresh is based on the Microsoft Dynamics NAV enterprise resource planning (ERP) suite, which currently has over 55,000 customers globally.

The solution will be implemented across Produce World's subsidiaries, which include Solanum, British & Brazilian Produce, Frupac, Isleham Fresh Produce, Prep Direct, RB Organic and Rustler Produce.

Produce World chief executive William Burgess said, "We selected Linkfresh for a number of reasons. The Dynamics NAV system is widely and successfully used throughout the global fresh produce industry.

"Anglia also included sophisticated industry-specific functionality in Linkfresh, and could provide us with a single source for a system that included infrastructure, the core business applications and advanced mobility."
